In an effort to be as transparent as possible in my blogging endeavors-
I have decided to share with you my reasons for partnering and ad placement,
as well as a basic disclosure...
First of all, let's face it- Providing an extra income, no matter how small, is always a favorable option, if at all possible. {Especially if you are a one income homeschool family}
But...
When I decided to partner with certain brands and advertisers, a few things initially bothered me...
1. Am I selling out?
2. Is it in line with my belief system to do so?
3. Will my readers be offended?
Actually, there are other concerns for me, personally, but I'll just stick to those 3...
So after consideration and much thought I can answer 1&2 at the same time.
When one reads Proverbs 31, one is able to glance at the activities of a hard working and wise woman of faith. She carefully crafts her goods and is compensated for her work.
Much in the same way, I feel that blogging can be the "craft of my hands" and if it has potential to bless my family financially, then I feel that it is in line with my ethics.
This is were #3 comes into play- In deciding to place ads and partnering with brands- I have come to the conclusion that I would:
A: Only partner with a brand, product or service If I felt comfortable with the company, brand, ideas, services and products being sold or offered.
You will never see a "Lose Belly Fat" ad here!!!
B:Partner with brands or affiliates that are working to better the world by contributing proceeds to causes I stand behind.{ie. Tavern Direct}
So, to my wonderful readers, it is my hope that I will be able to keep encouraging you in your daily walk to enjoy the little things in life that bring us joy.
If at anytime an ad appeals to you or sparks an interest and you choose to check it out, then feel free to do so. I would appreciate your support, as would my sponsors... but please know that I would in no way want you to ever feel pressure to do so.
As far as giveaways are concerned...
I will try my best to make sure that they are always-
fair, clearly marked and free to you as the reader.
